Itinerary:


Day 1: Casablanca airport:

Meet & greet at Casablanca Mohammed V airport and depending on flight arrival time. We suggest a visit of Morocco’s magnificent Hassan II mosque – the largest in the Kingdom. With space to accommodate 25,000 worhippers and sits magnificently on a promontory jutting into the Atlantic Ocean. Followed by a relaxed afternoon on the beachfront or Corniche, near to the port. Night in A Hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca » Rabat » Ouazzane » Rif Mountains » Chefchaouin:

After breakfast in your accommodation in Casablanca. We’ll start our day to the capital and residence of the current king Mohamed VI; the imperial city of Rabat. On arrival you will explore the Kasbah of the Udayas or also referred as Oudayas Kasbah. This site was originally built in the 12th century and was renovated many times throughout the centuries and it has been home to numbers of Andalusian immigrants.

After that, we will continue to the magnificent Hassan II tower: a half built minaret which was intended to be the tallest minaret of the largest mosque in the world, when constructions began at the end of the 12th century under the reign of Almohad sultan, Yacoub El Mansour. Nearby, on Yacoub El Mansour esplande, is the Mohamed V Mausoleum. Which holds the remains of Mohamed V and Hassan II; kings of the subsequent and current Alaouite dynasty.

Then from there we will drive to Ouazzane which was home for many of the pillars of Sufism. and you will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants there. After restoring, we will continue through The Rif Mountains to reach the picturesque blue medina of Chefchaouen. The medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores. Also roof-top restaurants and cafes…. Night in a Riad/Hotel.

Day 3: Chefchaouin » Volubilis » Moulay Idriss » Meknes » Fes:

After breakfast in your accommodation in Chefchaouin we’ll start our day to Fes. On our way we are going to explore Volubilis (Roman Ruins). A local guide will walk you around it and show you the remarkably well-preserved mosaic floors and forum.

After that, We will take the short journey from Volubilis to reach one of Morocco’s most important spiritual and religious sites – the hilltop town of Moulay Idriss. Many Moroccans make an annual pilgrimage to pray at the mausoleum Moulay Idriss. Where the Prophet Mohammed’s great-grandson and Morocco’s most -revered saint is buried. The town itself is picturesque with whitewashed narrow-streets and alleys with splendid views towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis.

Then from there we will drive to Meknes, the city that served as the capital during the 17th century. The main points of interest are the famous historical gate of Bab Mansour El-Alaaj, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Also the plaza of El Hadim: the second known Plaza in Morocco after the plaza of Jamaa El-Fna in Marrakech. Next you are going to see the Basin of Sahrij Souani. A lunch is planned for you to enjoy it in this historical city. Eventually, arriving to Fes night in a Riad/Hotel.

Day 4: Fes Sightseeing:

After breakfast our day will start from your accommodation exploring Fes( the oldest imperial city in Morocco). We will ensure you to see the most important historical and cultural sites. Begnning with the magnificent Royal Palace to admire its golden gates and the Jewish quarter or mellah. From there we will drive to visit the Southern Borj is a Saadian fortress built by the Saadian Sultan Ahmed Al Mansour in the late 16th century.

Then we will explore the Medina walking from Bab Boujloud to Kairaouine Mosque and University one of Africa’s largest mosques and the oldest university in the world. Then to, Chaouwara Tanneries: one of the City’s most iconic sights. Offering a unique window into the pungent, natural process of producing worldclass leather using methods that have changed little since medieval times.

Afterward to Medersa El Attarine: founded by Abu Said in 1325 in the heart of the medina. You will have the opportunity to have lunch in a traditional Moroccan resturant where you can test the typical dishes of the region.
Next to Moulay Idriss mausoleum: the city founder. Your guide will include as much as possible in your day. In the end of the tour we’ll return to the hotel with memories to last for a lifetime.

Day 5: Fes » The Middle Atlas Mountains » Ifran » Cedar forests » Midelt » Errachidia » Rissani »Merzouga Sahara Desert:

Your wonderful day is going to start at 8:00 am. towards Merzouga. On our way we are going to enjoy the beauty of the middle atlas mountains with its fantastic forests, Our first stop it will be in the beautiful city of Ifrane or “Moroccan Switzerland”, builte by french in the 1930s, deliberately trying to recreate an alpine style resort.

Then to the largest forest of the cedar trees where we will stop by, so you can get the chance to take some great pictures and to admire the beauty of this great forest and to see the barbary macaque also known as the “barbary ape”, they are active during the day. Next to Midelt the apple capital of Morocco and you will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants there. After restoring, we will continue through The Tizi N-Talghamt pass to Erachidia then to Ziz Valley, where we will have a short break for a coffee or Moroccan tea with mint and to enjoy the charming of this valley .

After a quiet stay, we will resume our tour to Rissani itself is very interesting town, between the 14the and 18the centures it was the location of the famed desert capital, “Sijilmassa”, where fourtunes in gold and slaves were traded via caravans crossing the sahel, in this old and historical area you will visit the largest local and traditionalist market (Souq) in the Southern Morocco. Eventually, arriving at Merzouga where you will enjoy the night with authantic dinner in a Riad/hotel.

Day 6: Merzouga » Dayet Sriji » Erg Chebbi » Nomadic families» Mifis Mines » Khamlia Village( Gnaoua Village):

After breakfast our wonderful day will start from your accommodation exploring the surrounding areas of the marvel Erg Chebbi. Our first destination it will be to the spectacular lake of Merzouga which is Dayet Sriji perhaps its the best area in Morocco for spotting many desert birds, including ( Egyptian nightjars, desert warblers, fulvous babblers and blue-cheeked bee-eaters). Sometimes, the lake even attracts flocks of flamingos and other waterbirds. After a quiet stay, we will drive off road to visit the nomadic families who are living around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, it will be a chance to see their life style and how they could sorvive in a dray sahara desert by having a cup of mint tea with theim.

Then from there to Mifis mines, its located on a high plateau that has a wonderful panoramic view of Erg Chebbi and the desert landscape. Afterward, we will head to Khamlia village ( Gnaoua village), the people of this small village originated in black africa having a close and long standing relationship with the sahara. Their ancestors were brought from central and west Africa, through the sahara desert in caravans that arrived to the southeastern of Morocco. We will get to know more about theim and enjoy their traditional music.

After enjoying the traditional gnaoua music, we will have a delicious lunch which is berber pizza. After that, you will ride your camels into a magic world through the sandy dunes of Erg Chabbe, under a panoramic view of unique sunset of the Sahara. To finilly get to our camp in a relaxing mood, you will have a delicious and authentic Berber(Amazigh) dinner in the heart of the desert and a night gathering around the fire with the berber music under an endless starry sky.

Day 7: Erg Chebbi » Merzouga » Erfoud » The irregation system » Todra Gorges » Dades Gorges:

It is recommended to wake up in early morning so you can not miss one of the most beautiful sunrise in your life. After breakfast in the camp you will have two choices. Either to come back to the village by camels or by car. From there we will start our day to Dades Gorges. Our first stop it will be Erfoud: It is one of the oldest known sites, where you can find precious and unique fossils.

Then to The Irreyation System: which begines in ancient times. Diverse societies on both sides of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco built thousands of wells and tunnel systems similar to qanats in Iran or foggaras in Algeria. These systems called khettaras in Morocco. Afterward, we will continue our way to Touroug then to Tinjdad. And you will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants in Touroug or Tinjdad.

After restoring, we will continue towards our unique place which is Todra Gorges. It’s the highest narrowest spectacular gorges in Morocco; 300 meters high and at their most narrow are a merely 20 meters apart. Also recognized around the world as one of the most spectacular Canyons. After a short walk around the immense cliffs and enjoying the amazing landscapes. We will drive to Dades Gorges where you will enjoy the night with authantic dinner in a Riad/hotel.

Day 8: Dades Gorges » Nomadic Caves » Roses Valley » Skoura Oases » Ouarzazate:

After breakfast in your accommodation in Dades Gorges we’ll head to Ouarzazate. driving through Dadès Gorge. Along the route that snakes northwards into the gorge you will see kasbahs, adobe villages, palm groves, walnut, almond, fig, citrus and pomegranate trees. This region is also know for its spectacular natural rock formations including eroded sandstone cliffs known as “the monkeys’ fingers”. We travel as far as the famous switchback bends of the Dadès Gorge route.

The journey then continues off road to visit Ait Atta nomads. Living a tough pastoral existence, making their homes in the caves in the rocks. We will stop to share a glass of mint tea with a family. And to learn a little about their culture.After that, we will drive towards Bou thrar village. To Kelaa M’Gouna which is known for the production of the rose water. Rose valley it’s well worth taking the time to stop and smell the roses. Then to Skoura Oasis known as the road of one thousand kasbahs. There where you will have the chance to visit an old kasbah which is Amridil Kasbah. It’s Morocco’s most coveted kasbah in this 17th century wonder.

After having a great time in the Kasbah we will continue our to Ourzazate. You will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants there. Afterward, we will Taourirt Kasbah. Then we will drive to your Hotel/Riad where you will enjoy the night with authantic dinner.

Day 9: Ouarzazate » The Atlas Studio » Ait Ben Haddou » The high atlas mountains » Marrakech:

After breakfast in your accommodation in Ouarzazate we’ll start our day to Marrakech ( the red city). Our first destination it will be the biggest film stutio in Morocco which is “The Atlas Studio”. After having a great time in the studio we will drive to the beautiful Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A kasbah that belongs to one of the most important families. Between the 16the and 17 the centures in Morocco “the Glaoui’s family”. And it is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture. And has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Also a place that attracted many film makers that it took a part in their movies. Such as (“Prince of Persia ” “Gladiator”…).

After a quiet stay, we will resume our tour towrdes Marrakech Passing through the high atlas mountains. Via the road of Tizi-n-Tichka pass, the highest road in Morocco with an altitude of 2260m. Offering you charming views as far as the eye can see. We will stop by, so you can get the chance to take some great pictures, videos. And to admire the beauty of the tiny Berber villages, valleys and oasis…. A lunch is planned for you to enjoy there. After that, we will resume our tour through the high atlas mountains to reach the red city “Marrakech”. Night in a Riad/Hotel.

Day 10: Marrakech sightseeing:

After breakfast our day will start from your accommodation exploring Marrakech (the red city). And we will ensure you to see the most important historical also cultural sites, including the Saadian Tombs. Then to Bahia Palace which is a late 19th-century palace in Marrakesh.

After, we will walk through the old historic part of the city. What we call the Old Medina to enjoy it’s souks and narrow streets and the Jemaa El-Fnaa Square. You will have time for lunch there. Afterward, we will walk to the Koutoubia Mouque. Then we will drive to visit the beautiful Majorelle Garden which was designed by the French artist, Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962). After that we will drive you back to your accommodation.

Day 11: Day trip to Essaouira:

After breakfast in your accommodation we will head to Essaouira for a day trip. To enjoy the old fortified fishing port on the atlantic coast. It’s reminiscent of an age when Spain, Portugal and England struggled to control their coasts. It is home to a traditional Portuguese harbor with fine examples of Moorish and Portuguese art. Explore the old midina with its colourful souks, art galleries, the carpentry workshops…. At late afternoon we will drive you back to Marrakech, night in a Riad/Hotel.

Day 12: Transfer to the airport:

Transfer you to the airport, Here unfortunately our wonderful experience will end.
